BIOREGION MUUCH XIIMBAL

Bioregion Muuch Xiimbal is a non for profit created with Maya owners and guardians on the Ejidal Land of Jacinto-Pat, home to the largest underground river system in the world (Dos Ojos - Saac Actun). The bioregion, ceremonial spaces, eco camp, a permanent bilingual maya/spanish school, and the área cientifica are community living spaces to discover and to learn about nature and Mayan culture.

Muuch Xiimbal’s mission is to foster ejido micro-companies/projects that participate in the conservation of both the environment and the fauna, flora and the culture and the Mayan language while generating a direct benefit to the Mayan community of Jacinto-Pat.
